Washington County's Department of Land Use and Transportation (LUT) is currently seeking a Management Analyst I to join the team! 


The Position
LUT is recruiting for a Management Analyst l in our Capital Project Services Division. The functions of our financial team members are critical to the success and smooth operation of LUT, which supports an overall annual departmental budget of approximately $400 million. This is a unique opportunity to make use of your exceptional interpersonal skills and experience within a large county department.

The Management Analyst I will be responsible for the following:

  • Processing Contracts & Amendments
    • Consultant contracts and amendments
    • Intergovernmental Agreements/Memorandums of Understanding
    • Construction Contract Bid Openings
    • Construction Contracts/Change Orders
    • Request for Proposals (RFPs)
    • Invitation to Bid (ITB)
    • Request for Quotes (RFQ)
    •  Federal Highway Administration/Emergency Response Grants
  • Accounts Receivable - Invoicing Vendors
  • Deposits/Refunds
  • Annual External Audit - research and preparing responses
  • Support for budget preparation

 

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; OR
  • Associate's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; AND two (2) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, financial, or similar analysis; OR
  • Four (4) years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses.
